"do people still post on here?" i fathom during contemplation of the creation of belly button lint.
i guess the last time i posted on here was like 7 months ago? it just seems like yesterday. so i guess ill fill you in. everyday, i pretty much just woke up in the daytime and then went to sleep at night. bam, 7 months out the window.
tonight, vince went to LA for some cattillion or 'duhboo' or some filipino tradition, so i was home alone. i had absolutely nothing to do, so i washed up and got dressed to go to the casino by myself.
i will tell you how i gamble because i dont think its like any other. i play with strategy, not luck.
i find myself at the lowbie $10 blackjack table and i notice my bankroll of $250ish. i change out $40. first hand, i bet the minimum ($10). doesnt matter if i win or lose...i forget if i won or lost, but my next hand, i put everything down, $30 or $50, once again doesnt matter.
i lose the $40 in 2 hands. before the dealer collects my cards, i grab $100 and change it out for one chip. i lose. fabulous. take out the rest and i dont even bother to have it changed into a chip, i play it as cash. lose. 4 hands, down $240. not a big deal. i was bored at home anyways and prepared myself to lose.
you know how they say, leave your atm card at home? thats fool's talk. i walk from my seat straight to that atm machine and pull out 300. it's double or nothing time. this time, i dont need to sit next to some old ladies and college kids gambling their allowances. i sit at the high roller table.
table is empty. change out $200. guy sits down next to me and pulls out about 10 thousand dollars out of his pocket and puts $500 on the table. now that's what im talkin about. i match his bet of $100. we both lose. i put up $100 and make it back. double or nothing. lost. my last $100 in my pocket. play it as cash. win. double or nothing. win. $200 again. win. now im back to about even. $100 bet and i lose. okay im getting tired of this. $300 - win. $250 - win. i tip the girl $25 for the wild 5 minutes. she was, by the way, the fastest dealer i have ever played with... almost like a computer dealing.
thats it. 20 minutes at the tables, another 5 grabbing a complimentary soda, and 30 minutes of a drive home.
as you can see, i shouldn't be left alone. i have more money in my wallet than in my bank account. haha.
that is all. |
